Advice for the Jobless

Okay, so I heard about this blog after visiting TopLawStudent.com, but it offerred good advice for those 3Ls graduating without a job. Law Career Blog In your job hunt, you really have to be persistent and apply for jobs regularly and tell EVERYONE that you are looking. Like Law Career Blog said, you can't be too picky for the first job, because it inevitably won't be your last. For those who have jobs on graduation, continue to support and encourage your jobless friends!!!

  1. Don't despair if you find yourself in this situation. Concentrate on studying for (and passing) the bar exam. Once you are licensed, people are much more willing to hire you. It's very rare to get hired while studying for the bar - but with a little pavement pounding, you'll be able to find a job after getting your results. Try not to fret about jobs while studying - take one thing at a time. And remember - this is a common situation. (I was in the top 10% of my class and still went through this). Good luck!
