Promote Yourself in the Workplace

This blogger recommends self-promotion strategies, including socializing and humble confidence! She makes some very good recommendations to make sure that you stand out at work and also positively contribute to your work environments.  I agree with her that its a good idea to keep a record of your accomplishments throughout the year so that you can highlight them during your performance evaluation.  In my personal experience, my supervisor served as a wonderful mentor and often offered advise on how I could improve. I often asked for feedback to make sure I was doing my work well. I also tried to make a note where my work illustrated a new area of the law.  Being aware of your strengths and weaknesses is also an important skill and ask for help before, rather than head down the wrong road.  It never hurts to ask for help!
